MVA is a software company based in São Paulo. It builds software and AI for other companies, runs cloud on AWS and operates two products of its own: leiloa.ai, for auctioneers, and LawPilot, for law firms.
01 · Why MVA
MVA was founded in August 2025 in São Paulo by Thiago Lara, who has been building software for more than 15 years and was CTO at Byx Capital. At MVA, technical decisions are made with business, regulatory and customer context on the table, not on engineering grounds alone.
We run two products of our own, leiloa.ai and LawPilot, and serve clients in software development, AI advisory, AWS cloud and Tech Due Diligence. Engineers here understand the business, help define the product and write the code. They know why they are building something and decide how to build it.
Here you follow a product from start to finish: talking to real customers, architecture decisions, first deploy, first incident. You see the whole cycle, not a slice of it. It is a good fit for anyone who wants to start their own company one day.
02 · How we work
Developers talk directly to clients, the founder and investors. A technical decision is also a business decision.
Live meetings only where they make a difference: planning, discovery and review.
Paid models available to everyone and AI agents in production. Knowing how to use AI is a requirement, not a differentiator.
ADR, post-mortem and design doc. We write for people and for our AI agents, which read that documentation.
All code goes through review, has observability and follows security rules. The bar is high because our clients work in regulated markets.
Individual development plan, study time and support for certifications.

The partnerships give access to credits, training programs and official tracks, which we use with the team and with clients.
04 · The first months
First 30 days
You get to know the product, the clients and the code. You get your access, open your first PR in the first week and ship your first deploy in the first month.
Up to 60 days
You become responsible for a module or flow and take part in discovery, code review and architecture decisions.
90 days and beyond
A review conversation based on what you delivered, your technical contribution and the way you work. It produces your development plan and your next challenges.
05 · The other side
Some things MVA does not offer yet:
A formal career ladder, long-vesting equity and an assigned mentor. The company is new and still building that structure.
We have planning and sprints, but priorities change. If context switching bothers you, it will weigh on you.
If you want to work alone, without code review and without documenting decisions, it will feel odd. Here we talk and document a lot.
Leaving your current company is not reason enough. We want people interested in the work MVA does.
